Clinical studies in investigation centers

CEN Experimental

Objectives :

  • Application for an Article 13.5 or 14 medical claim from the appropriate authorities
  • Publication of scientific information
  • Request for an ADFMS (dietary food taken for specific medical reasons) reimbursement made to the HAS(1)

These objectives are currently being met in partnership with the Performance Expertise Centre where Pr. F.A. Allaert is the referring practitioner, and with the CREA BIO Centre attached to Dijon University Hospital.
In the spring of 2012, a center for experimental studies in nutrition, specifically dedicated to health claims, will be inaugurated (CEN Experimental).  Covering over 500m² (equipped with a sample laboratory, a kitchen, 3 consultation rooms, 2 bedrooms, an investigation room…), the CEN Experimental clinical investigation center will be able to handle very thorough nutritional investigations.
CEN Experimental has data files for several hundred healthy potential volunteers.  When necessary, the CEN Nutriment network of investigating physicians can be used to recruit volunteers whose illnesses are still at the sub-pathological stage (not yet requiring pharmacological treatment).
